Egyptian companies dominated this year’s 5P International Expo in Addis


More than sixty Egyptian companies have taken part in this year’s 5P International Exhibition that took place from April 29 to May 2, 2017 at the Exhibition Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Expo, organized by Shakcrux Trade and Events Management, aimed to bring state-of-the-art technologies and know-how to the Ethiopian market.

“This year is going to be another momentous period for the plastic, paper, petrochemical, packaging and printing sector in Ethiopia as more than one hundred leading companies from across the world attend the sixth edition of the Ethio 5P International Expo and Conference,” said Aklile Belete, Managing Director of Shakcrux, during the opening session on April 29th. “It is hoped that these companies will help a hand in the transformation of the sector in Ethiopia for good.”

Shakcrux Trade and Events Management is known for organizing the Ethio 5P International Expo and Conference series in Addis Ababa for some time now. It is also providing its services for its clients in the B2B and matchmaking sector that it knows best more than anyone else.


“Ethiopia is an exciting market that needs to be explored more,” Mohamed Abdel Azeem, the CEO of Prohouse, a company that specializes in printing and events planning in Egypt told Ethio Newsflash. “We want to come back here in the future.”

Government officials attending the event have pledged to provide more support for the sector in the future.
