A government official and eyewitnesses told Ethio Newsflash roads being blocked, burned in towns across Oromia


አንድ የመንግስት ባለሥልጣን እና በቢሾፍቱ እንዲሁም በአምቦ ከተማ ያሉ የአይን እማኞች በስልክ ዛሬ እንደነገሩን ከሆነ ሰልፈኞች መንገድ እየዘጉ እና አንዳንድ መኪናዎችም እየተቃጠሉ እንደነበር ነግረውናል።

A government official and two unnamed sources in Bishoftu and Ambo towns have told Ethio Newsflash that there are renewed clashes between security forces in many locations across the Oromia region this morning and also last night. Oromia region’s Government Communications Office Head, Ato Fikadu, told us that people are trying to block roads and are also burning vehicles and shops but there are no reports of death as a result. He also said he is 100 percent sure that all 52 dead yesterday died of a stampede and not bullet wounds. According to him, many of the victims families are now collecting the victims bodies.
